This weathered wood is reclaimed snowfence that is perfectly cured by the Wyoming wind, snow, rain and extreme temperatures. It requires no kiln drying or sealant. The architecture of snowfence keeps boards well above the ground, so the wood remains completely useable and unaffected by bugs or ground moisture. The wood is virtually untouched by humans or animals during its decade or more tenure on the prairies and hills, which means that while it weathers, it maintains its integrity and strength for second use.
